Two people visit a Zen Master (thank goodness there's always one around when you need advice).
The person man asks: “I’m thinking of moving to this city. What’s it like?”
The Master asks: “What's it like in your current city?”
The person replies: “Oh it's the worst, I don't like it there and everyone is horrible.”
The Master says: “Ah ok, you'll find this city is very much the same. I don’t think you should move here.”
The first person leaves and the second person comes in.
The second person says: “I’m thinking of moving to this city. I just wanted to know what it's like?”
The Master asks: “What's it like in your current city?
The second person responds: “Oh it's wonderful. Everyone is friendly and I'm really happy. Just interested in a change now.”
The Master says: “This city is very much the same. I think you will like it here.”
The lesson here? What we seek is what we find.
